The L Word DVD sets

I thought this was a pretty intersting series. I borrowed the Seasons 1 and 2 sets and was surprised at how graphic this series truly is.

Aside from the lesbian and apparent sexual content, it surprised me with the character concepts. I know it is fictitious, and not all lesbians act or look like the portrayals in this series, but it was pretty darned good.

I am not part of teh gay/lesbian community, but the entertainment concept of this show is pretty darned leading-edge for the images projected. It took some guts for producers to endorse the project.

I thought the first season was more graphic. The second season did not have the punch of the second season, but it was still pretty good.

my flatmate has all those sets... she likes them but as a guilty pleasure i guess since all the women in the program are kind of hollywood or whatever, super wealthy with clean houses and fancy furniture. but i guess thats tv in general.
ive only seen a few of the episodes myself.. or rather overheard them. i hate watching tv. i agree though, the images of women projected in the program are atypical as they are mostly positive although the fact that they all look like anorexics is kind of disturbing. the only character who doesn't is the pregnant one.
