Hello Yellowworld,

This seems like a pretty cool place, I like the easygoing atmosphere. My name is Yuhei, (yuyujiteki no yu, heiwa no hei if you're curious), my father is Japanese and my mother is Caucasian (American), and although I was born in Hong Kong, my family moved before I turned 1 and settled in New York. I'm 19, an art student, probably gonna major in Illustration. I just bought a cool digital camera, so I will try to post a pic of myself soon.

OK, that's all I could think to write.

My father works for a Japanese bank, and at the time was working at the HK branch. He was transferred to the NY branch shortly after I was born. By some miracle (and also because he's fluent in English), he's stayed in the US ever since - for most Japanese execs trasferred overseas during the 'bubble economy', it was for 2-5 years, then back to Japan to stay.

Arimasu kedo I usually don't give out my entire name online. My full name is Yuhei Xxxx Carreau Xxxx... Carreau is my mother's maiden name. A lot of my friends call me Yuhei so I don't mind going by that online.
