Im thinking about getting a new computer any suggestion?

Hmmm...I'm not a big guru in terms of types of computers. They're all somewhat negligible to me when it comes down to it. Check out cnet.com and you can get a price/features comparison of the major brands.

ok, but i do know not to get a Gateway, since they are not used for gaming and they suck when it comes to some hardcore , multiplaying games.

Anything from a well respected make with an Athlon 1800+ and a GeForce 4 ought to do the trick :D

Get TnT2....better choice and cheap or ATI Rage PRo Turbo, if you're really cheap.

remember some games require GL

But if you wanna pay for overpriced comercialistic markup (A.K.A. have someone else do it, namely a big corperation) Go with Dell, even tho i wanna punch that kid in the face, dells are great computers with really good tech support. :D

whats up with the dual monitor support on ATI cards? cus it sucks ass, you cant do dual CRT, and dual output the dvd video from the ati player to both monitors, say you had one video output to a projector, and another to the monitor.

you can get a geforce4 Ti4200 for about 170 these days. Overclock it to ti4400 speeds

It has everything that a 2k machine has..
