I don't plan to watch it. I like Tarver in this fight though.

What are the odds?
I think Tarver is going to win. Jones has lost that myth of invicibility he used to have, where the fight was already over before the fight even started. Mike tyson used to have that as well, where the opponents were already of fighting him.
And, it seems that Jones has lost a step.

What are the odds?
the current odds:
Antonio Tarver -184
Roy Jones Jr +174
over 9.5 rounds -126
under 9.5 rounds +116
Will Roy Jones win by Decision?
Yes +360
No -400
that's just the odds my "investment advisor" is using. i don't know where he got it from. but, i looked around it's in and around those numbers.
the consensus is jones with either will win by decision or knockout tarver before or in the 9th round. some even put jones knocking out tarver before or in the 6th round.

I'd put money on Tarver, though I'll of course be rooting for Jones. Don't think I'm going to watch it, though as Pride FC has made watching boxing a frustrating activity for me.

I think Jones will come back against Tarver, although I do think Jones is past is prime.

Well, if the odds are favoring Jones, then I'd invest in Tarver. This is their 3rd fight, and you could make a legitimate argument that Tarver won both of the first two but was robbed by the judges in the first fight. And, since then, Jones has only seemed to be gotten slower and more vulnerable. Of course, Jones' legacy is riding on this fight, but it was riding on the second fight, to prove the first fight wasn't a fluke. Seems to me that Jones is the fan favorite, and that's why you have money going to Jones. For whatever reason, Tarver just seems to have Jones' number.

what a great weekend so far.
money in my pocket from the jones-tarver fight.
the yanks clinched the AL east
all that's left is for the giants and jets to win and for me to beat this weeks opponents in both my fantasy football leagues.

So, how much money did you pocket after following my advice about betting on Tarver? Hopefully, my analysis convinced you to put in a large amount.
Although, I'm not too high on the Jets, especially with Pennington's injuries.
But, Eli has seemed to turn the corner.

i won a decent amount.
i was going to put my money on tarver. i just wasn't sure if he was going to win by decision or knockout.

That fight pissed me off to no end. Jones clowned around too much and didn't get down to business like he should have. I'm glad he lost.
