Any mixed Asians (meaning those who visit these forums) not have dk brown/blk hair and brown eyes? I'm just curious.

I have dk brown/auburn hair and brown eyes. The red kicks into overdrive if I spend a lot of time outside during the summer though. Yes, I'm a natural redhead. It's just part time.

I changed my bangs to brown once and someone asked me how i got the rest of my hair to be black and the bangs my only natural color.

I get asked what my natural hair color is all the time because my hair is jet black.

(What's jet black anyway? Most jets are silver.)

My eyes are light brown, not dark brown like most azn ppl.

when i was little i had the red hair thing, thank god or whatever that it went away by the time i hit 3rd grade. now if only i hadn't been 5'9" by the time i was in 6th grade, i coulda made some friends. :rolleyes:

Geeze, except for the basic shape of my face I look nothing like I did as a kid or a teen. As a toddler, I had a very light complexion, blue eyes and sandy brown hair. As a teen I had very dark skin, black hair and dark brown eyes. Now, I've settled in the middle -- light tan, dark hair and green-brown eyes.

the same here, when i was little i looked full japanese. black black hair, round face, narrow eyes, and dark skin. now i have a longer face, round eyes w/folds and extremely grotesquely pail skin, you can see the blue of my veins. don't know what happened. yup i mutated too. my eye color went from brown w/slight green lines to green w/slight brown lines.

eyes have always been brown.

when I was a kid, I had straight black hair. then as I passed puberty, it got lighter and curly. I thought guy's hair normally gets darker at puberty ... kinda had a 'fro during frosh year. anyway once I shaved it, it grew back wavy rather than curly. repeated shaving hasn't had any further effect. so I stopped shaving my head. for the past four to five years I kept my hair in the same played-out style everyone else has, cuz there's not much else I can do with wavy hair. though these days I'm thinking of growing it out and letting it hang down a bit (since it actually grows downwards instead of outwards now). but in the mean time it's kinda messy.

yeah, a few years ago I grew hair down past my shoulders. It was wavy and thick as hell and I looked like a chick and dudes, gay and straight, started hittin' on me so I had to cut it.

I can attest to the mutation too. Born with black hair and extreme monolid. The black hair was replaced with red/brown and my eyelids opened up a bit. I'm not as monolidded as I used to be.

Depending on tan, hair dye and colored contacts, I can easily rotate ethnicities without looking fake.

haha i don't think i will let it get that long. just around neck length. if it stays in any kinda order until then and if i don't get so pissed trying to get my hair to sit down that i just go to the barber and tell him to gimme the same damn fade I've had since junior year of high school.

Born with hair a very dark shade of brown (just a shade or two lighter than black), small almost black eyes (they were slightly large for Asian eyes though, but still kinda small), and a flat as hell nose. Now my hair's reddish brown and shines gold (people ask me too much if I dye or highlight my hair). I like it. My eyes are large but curved, so they're still Asian but sometimes larger than some caucasian eyes (I quote: "Hey! Your eyes are bigger than Lewis' and Mike's!"). I think they're just brown, my sister thinks they're hazel (huh?!), and just about everybody else keeps telling me I have red eyes. It's funny because this pack of girls uses that as more evidence that I'm the devil. "Look at her eyes! And look at her teeth! She's a vampire! Why are you wearing black all the time, Maggie? Are you goth or something? Eww. Say walahi, she's the devil." Another time they screamed at my friend in Samalian for hanging out with me. I had to make him translate for me. Crazy ass people.

:lol: You know what, I never noticed. Actually, the hair that I have now is way shorter than the photo of me. I look more like when I was a young kid. My hair was too thick and wavy. There were times where I had funky looking hairstyles. All natural, nothing was permed. I did relax my hair twice. :huh:
