Forget Pedro, even though he's been great, and Mets fans love him to death
Looks like Mets have their ace in the hole in Seo
Ever since being called back from the minors, he's 4-0, with an 0.89 ERA
His ERA for the season is 1.30
It was below 1.00 during his last game against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, before he gave up 2 runs.
What a difference adding a few pitches has made
Too bad the other Asian Mets haven't performed so well-
Kaz Ishii, who had Seo's spot, was sent to the minors - he did outduel or match Clemens, Peavy, and Willis, but most of the time he threw stinkers, usually blowing up in a single inning
Dae-Sung Koo, was also sent down - he was lights-out in a blow out, but couldn't get a single lefty out when it really mattered
Danny Graves, who was born in Vietnam, was designated for assignment (for the second time in the season, first by the Reds) and will probably spend some time in the minors - he was also pretty good in mop-up, but had some bad outings, including giving up 6 runs to blow an 8-0 lead (and a win for Pedro) against the Nationals
They'll probably come back up in September though, when the rosters expand to 40 players
Also, I'm sure many of you know about Kaz Matsui.
However, he did have a great running play the other night, which allowed 2 runs to score on a double play.
