I just bought 1995 FZR 600, but have no clue about maintanence on a bike.
I can't even change the headlights... anyone have a clue how to get it out? I tried twisting it, and yanking it..
Also, are there other helpful motorcycle forums out there?

got a pic? of the headlight? My guess is that it's got h4's and has a twisting lock thing at the back of the headlamp assembly. Might just be hard to twist off though. Then it should let you pull the plug off the back of the bulb.
you need to mix fuel with oil when doing oil service. They've got syringes for such a thing. Otherwise it's like service on a regular motor. Just alot smaller capacities.

are the H4 bulbs, the same as the one's used in cars? I heard I have to get lower wattage bulbs?

If they're H4, they're the same as the ones used in cars, well actually vice versa. Cars usually use the 9003 and motorcycles were using the H4. If you look at the plugs, they're basically the same, just H4's were a little brighter.
Got a pic of the headlamp from the back where the wiring goes to?

h4's are commonly the aftermarket foglight bulbs.
i'd rather have a higher wattage bulb on a motorcycle (well, short of busting a fuse and/or melting the wires and/or housing).

have you figured that part out yet? I'm not really sure what's the highest watt you should use. Just use whatever replacement they have at the store. There should be a rating on the bulb itself, but if it's not, I would personally just use the replacement part provided at an auto parts shop.
I found this:

They advise nothing higher than an 80W bulb. I think most cars run 85W to 95W. I've used 100W on my MR2 and that wasn't a good idea, the wires heated up and stressed the electrical system a tad.
