Asian American Bank & Trust is a large insitution in the Metro-Boston Asian American community. They finance a lot of small business for the Asian American community. However I do not believe they do a lot of lending for real estate development which is a hotbed issue within the Chinatown community.
Also Asian American Bank & Trust was suppose to finance and help develop the Chinatown Heritage Trail here in Boston's Chinatown. I wonder what is going to happen to this project with the take over.
