BOSTON -- A flight from Los Angeles to London was diverted to Boston early Tuesday after three Pakistani passengers were reported acting suspiciously, but nothing amiss was found and the three were released after questioning, authorities said.

Flight 934 landed at Logan International Airport at 2:52 a.m. The three Pakistani citizens were taken into custody and questioned after other passengers complained that they were moving about the cabin, an FBI spokeswoman said.

"Some of the individuals were in first class and another was in coach," spokeswoman Gail Marcinkiewicz said, and they were walking between the two sections of the plane.

All three were later released and no charges were filed, she said.

Racial profiling? Never! This reminds me of those Syrian musicians who were detained on that flight because some white person told someone in authority that they were acting suspicious because they were talking amongst themselves.

I think think the people that voice concerns, which later turn out to be completely unfounded, should also be kept over for questioning and racial tolerance education. They should also be required to apologize to the individuals for inconveniencing them, plus make a $100 donation to the charity of each wrongfully accused's choice. That'll ensure they have something more substantial than mere skin color and "moving about the cabin" to go off before complaining.

Unfortunately some cultures and people don't enter popular consciousness until something bad happens. A lot of Americans hadn't really been aware of of these foreign people until the recent wars and terrorism.
1980: Islam? never heard of it.
2001: Islam? terrorism.

Likewise the case of the Hmong.. the incident with Chai Vang was probably the first and only exposure to "Hmong" many Americans have had.
