so the Six-Nation Talks is set to resume. representatives from both the US and North Korea have met already, but it was only a pre-meeting meeting. basically they had a meeting about how the meeting will go... (something similar actually occurs in the corporate world. i've had co-workers say, "let's get together and talk about when we're going to talk about this.")

i don't know about anybody else, but i'm a little bored of the news on North Korea. it's always the same thing and nothing concrete ever happens. i wish news agencies would all just stop reporting on North Korea until something actually happens.

Will anyone take 10-1 odds that the talks will fail within 3 months?
The NK negotiators are so petty that they'd walk out if their seats were uncomfortable. I wish I were exagerating.

yeah.

but i can understand how they'd want a peace pact before stopping nuclear development. it's like they've got a gun and someone's pointing a cannon at them, and they're asked to drop the gun before they be assured that they won't be attacked.

man, all i can say is, north korea is one fucked up country.

I would support a regime change in pyongyang (although militarily, that's not possible).

north korean scavenging for food....
