Hi, found this website amusing and should be enlightening to read on, thus my participation. Call me Ken. I'm half Malaysian-half Japanese, speak neither, grew up in Paris, France, and currently back in the land of the rising sun to learn to become a "proper Asian" (I quote my Mom).
One of my preoccupation is to self-debate about my identity, the reason I bumped into this site was my on-going research about what I want to be. I mean, growing up in Europe and going through european education system, my brain seems to gear itself towards the western "values", but the blood nourrishing my brain is asian, applying a constant "pause/brake" to a total assimilation into the European society, but not enough to allow me to immerse myself into the Asian chaos. For the time being, my short stay in Asia seems to proove devastating, Japan is crazy! Malaysia is oppresing.
'Enuf self ranting. Glad to be with the yellows.
K
ps: Do you all feel insulted if people call you "Yellow Belly Monkey"?

I chose ChottoMatte because I wanted something that reflected my Japanese roots and had some meaning.
"Hello_pussy" sounds sexist. But I could be wrong. Why did you choose such a screen name?

^It could be taken in a bad way. But I read it more as a derivative of Hello Kitty. lol. Hello, Ken.

Well first of all, the is no such thing called "free press", homosexuality is illegal (from the last time I heard). However, I've never really lived there. I stayed a couple of years as an exchange student in Singapore, and there everything seems to be underground or hush-hush type of establishment. Something that I'm not used to.
To state it plainly, in France, we are (I'm involved in militant groups for equal gay rights in Paris) fighting for the right of homosexuals to get married and adopt children. In most Asian countries, we are fighting for the right to be different. That is a staggering difference in mentality. Basic human rights are universal (in my humble opinion), the right to voice your difference, and to not be ashamed of what you are are fundamental for the emancipation of one being. Tradiation/culture/customs trying to explain otherwise are hypocrisy or harshly put "bulls***". Of course I'm not advocating that it is gay paradise in Europe, but it is a hair better in Europe to be gay than here in Osaka for example.

If this website can call itself "yellow", hello_pussy should hardly shock anyone. Hello Anaestacia, nice meeting you.
I chose ChottoMatte because I wanted something that reflected my Japanese roots and had some meaning.

Well maybe I'm being slightly insensitive to the more conservative readers here, as such I do apologise. I'm not sexist, I'm a feminist though. I'm of the opinion that girls should not hold back their sexual impulses, but rather enjoy sex and be pro-active. Hello_pussy is far from inciting that, but my point is that women should not be offended by the word "pussy". they should rejoice the fact that their sexual prowness can turn men into beast. I'm a firm believer that a better world is in sight, if there were more women running this world. Men often than not "think" with their balls.

Well, it surely is a treasure to have another opinionated member. Truly. However, I assume with a name like Ken, you're a heterosexual male (though I could be completely off). Do you think your stance on feminist issues does not sound a little self-serving?
I also agree women should be pro-active and I am aware of the double standards I have about males and females and their opinions on feminism. Wary.

sorry lor.
ps: it was just a plain remark non-intending to annoy anyone, but failed as proven.

Well he's not in my pocket, so guess where a personality like him would be? Oops, might hurt someone's feeling again with this remark. Is there a page listing all the rules to abide by here? I don't want to start annoying people with my ruditude-diarrhea.
