haplesshobo, I just noticed you never really introduced yourself to YW. I personally do not enjoy dealing with just a screenname. There has to be a face, a person, a personality behind the screenname. You can always look up my own introduction, tho feel free to PM me for more up-to-date information.

But really, I've been wondering who you are and what your purpose here on YW is. Also curious on where you are from. It'll make it much easier if we get to know the person behind the debates, the issues, and the statements.

So since you haven't started up your own introduction thread, I've decided to do one for you. So, feel free to step up to the virtual mike.

Best regards,
Rich

All I ask is a sincere and legitimate response from the 'topic' at hand.

I never got THIS thread when I joined! I didn't introduce myself, post pics, name, job, etc and everything turned out just fine now didn't it?Well, it's hard to gauge this from your own perspective, but how do you feel you're a part of this community? There's a propensity for detachment the less you know about someone, like you'd care more for a friend than a stranger. There's also a propensity for taking someone more seriously the better you know them. If you think you're doing okay, and you're happy with it, then enjoy it. =)

1. ...how do you feel you're a part of this community?

2. If you think you're doing okay, and you're happy with it, then enjoy it. =)1. I feel like I'm apart of the yellowworld community because some yellowworld members love to go out of their way to give me negative karma for simple (http://www.forums.yellowworld.org/showthread.php?p=411751#post411751) threads and closing all of my favorite (http://www.forums.yellowworld.org/showthread.php?t=22038) threads. There aren't many Japanese on this site and I can see why. It seems like I'm just a virtual pinata on this site for posters deep-seated hatred of Japanese...

2. I think I'm doing okay because I've learned to look over the subliminal racism. I enjoy reading and replying to posts from the good people on this site with no further distractions. Thank you.
