you know what? i really don't feel very old. i wish i were OLDer.

every year around my birthday, i always go crazy. literally. last year, i skipped class a lot because i didn't like my teachers (i only skipped a few classes each day. i went to most of my other classes. i read books and newspapers in the library during the classes i skipped.) and i felt i wasn't learning anything because the material they were covering wasn't "challenging" enough. what else? i was really caught up with being "steady" with wayne, this other online guy who lives in monterey park. i ended up meeting him in may at disneyland on a choir trip though, and after that, things were sorta over between the two of us cus he was a dick who just wanted some. but i didn't put out. that fucker. we have the same birthday, june 12. to my surprise, he sent me a bday card this year. michelle says he wants me back, but i don't want him back. that good for nothing piece of shit. hmph. he drove up to get some, but i still wouldnt put out, so he dumped me. fucker. i'm actually glad he did though.

this year, it was the whole ordeal with the plane ticket and momma's credit card. really, i'm not a bad person. but if all you knew is that i used my mom's cc # to buy me a plane ticket to see some guy i met online, you'd think i was a fricken psycho teenaged chick. believe me, i'm not. i'm just a very free thinking, scatterbrained girl, who has strong opinions on some matters, and who can care less about others. sometimes i'm blonde.

i'm not the type of person who goes around publicizing my birthday in hopes of birthday cards and gifts. i could really care less. spending time with my best friend is better than getting a new shirt. dinner with a group of my buddies is a shit load better than getting 10 presents. i cherish it more. presents mean nothing to me. a phone call to tell me happy birthday is just fine. even a hug. just the notion that you remembered makes me happy. see? i'm easily pleased. i'm the ideal gf. hah. no, really. i am. :lol:

haha. yeah i feel the same way as you do about birthdays though. knowing that people actually care enough to remember my birthday is a whole lot better than receiving nice presents.

this happened to me just this last birthday: one of my best friends only remembered my birthday because it happened to fall on the same day as his six month anniversary with his girlfriend. i'm so glad that he was reminded of it only because of someone obviously more important to him.
