College tips?

OK....................I'm open to helpful tips, suggestions, etc. for college. What are some of the things that you have found useful.......................while of course maintaining a job, social life, etc in college?

enjoy college while you can, cauz everything after it just ain't the same.

Don't drink on saturday night, rather, drink on friday and study the rest of the weekend. Avoid drinking if possible and actually go and volunteer.

To tell you the truth, you should immediately jump on volunteer opportunities or good internships and work in something you know you want to do.

GO GO GO to office hours. Get to know professors in things you want to do. Especially if you like them and they like you. They can write you really good reference letters and pull favors for you.

Oh yeah, yomama's right, enjoy it while you can. College life is one of a kind.

about first year: even if you do pretty good first semester, don't slack off second semester. you tend to plummet a lot more than you think you would. and i second hooligan about the office hours thing, but if you're going there just because you know it's one of those things you're "supposed to do", they can tell pretty quick.
