i been really into lookin at japanese VIP cars like sedans, wagons, and vans pimped out into a gangster/ yakuzaish style of living large and that is a mirror of what we see in DUB magazine and that rappers, athelletes, and others who think their big ballers drive.

Some of them look ok. I don't like the rims on most of them. I'd not have a ride that low around here either. They would be smashed off at the first pothole I see. :D

kits not expensive just no source for it, wouldnt it be nice to open up a SUPER VIP store all VIP cars all big and dumped on PHat wheels.

cedric and gloria are pretty much the same car minus the headlight covers and turbos u got a Y33 cedric

on the other hand the cima (Q45) is unique

That reminds me a LOT of the current S-class Mercedes. The rims are in the AMG Hammer style. Lots of Euro touch there but I don't like it since there is too much imitating going on.

hmm that cars pretty sock cept the kit (valences and skirts) and wheels. the mercedes wannabe grill is standard in japan

Never said you can't. I just don't believe in leather head to toe. Especially TIGHT leather. In fact, I prefer suede or cotton.

thats definitely a Q45 just look at the headlights and the rear windown profile and how the tail lights are upright. also i took that pix off a Q45 body kit site.

The Q45 when it's tricked out looks kinda cool. Looks like crazy Maxima only much cooler. I think it's much cooler than the LS430 with it's crazy gatling gun headlights. Not sure what's up with the Toyota Avalon-esque c-pillar though. But what's up with the Japanese trying to make their domestic luxo rides into wannabe Benzes?

I think I'd roll in a G'ed out Odyssey...

Speaking of Odysseys, anyone remember RJ De Vera's mom's tricked out first generation Odyssey? That van was...er...interesting.=)

the Q45 has gattling gun headlights the LS430 has a simple multiform reflector.

The whole idea is to make a pimp ride and its been that way since the late 80's when yakuza and local gangsters started making their rides flashy and pimp.

Yeah, I know the Q has the gatling gun headlights = why it's cooler than the LS430 which is a straight wannabe previous generation S-Class.

And I guess it makes sense they'd do 'em up like Benzes (i.e., the Benz grille) since the price of imports is insane due to the high tariffs...
