kerry collins with 3 TD's against the pats and yields me 26.80 points.
he's gonna have just a good season stats wise as that culpepper guy if not better. ;)
get use to deez nuts cuz this is the year of deez nuts.
D-Nutz,
You are off to a good start against Team Dada, but just like in bed, I may start slow but I finish strong. Team Dada is not afraid.
Other predictions....
KTown/Shark - I love any team with Tony G, but Shark has the better player matchups this week. Fins wins.
BTR/Angry - Ol' Yeller is my fav trading buddy, not afraid to make the big deal....I predict Angry will be happy this weekend
Ninja/Annie - Flip a coin on this one...I did...result: the sun will come out tomorrow for Annie

i'm gonna need a miracle to pull this one off. i think you pretty much have this one in the bag.
you should give president tran duc luong a call and tell him you're about to fuck a chinaman up and exact revenge for the 1979 chinese invasion. he might wanna know about this ass raping in the making.

what blew my mind even more is when the eagles were clearly getting blown out in the fourth with no hopes of coming back. why did they still leave mcnabb in the game?

moss isn't doing that bad with kerry collins at QB. moss made kerry collins a better QB and opened up the game. collins is arguably one of the top 5 QB's statistically in the league at the moment.

The loss of Manning is worrisome for me, so I am hoping the rest of my team steps up. Nutz has a solid team and some pretty nice matchups this week (a pissed off Tomlinson against KC...ugh). My bye week hell was week 6 when the Eagles had a bye. Lost out on McNabb, Westbrook, and LJ Smith. Luckily I was taking on my brother's pitifully pathetic last place team that week.
This week I'm only missing some WRs and Shaun Alexander, but I'm pretty deep at RB.
I really should have made it a 4 team playoff and added an RB/WR postion. Oh well, next year.

we're at the halfway mark and i have to say my planning each week has been near flawless so far. i also have to give credit to my two research assistant med students for aiding me in crunching stats and providing me with a spreadsheet of who's who and who to start, my weaknesses, trade proposals etc etc etc. i think it's a good break for the two young med students from looking at pancreas mri's and segmenting the images.
the best pick up by far for me was carson palmer off waivers. he is statistically the best qb at the moment.
my best player that was picked up after another yw fantasy member dropped him is probably mike anderson.
a player that i dropped that i regretted was rod smith. but, i don't regret it that much.
best player drafted is tomlinson which i lucked out and snagged with the second pick in the first round.
worst player drafted was ahman green with my second round pick.
this year, i've been the most research intensive i've ever been in my years of playing fantasy football. i look foward to exerting my dominance over you guys for the remainder of the season like i did in the first half of the season.
so in the words of quintus to maximus before they were about to conquer the horde in germania: "people should know when they're conquered."
thank you, good luck in the fight for second place and god bless.

The good thing about fantasy football is that it ain't roto fantasy. You can amass all the points and wins you want and still be beaten by the wild card team that just managed to squeak into the playoffs (like mine!):)
well yeah. not only that we all make the playoffs in the yw league.
pretty sweet cuz some of ya's need all the help you can get.

Well there's always a playoffs for everyone but only 4 teams will probably make it for the real playoffs.
And for all that research-firepower you may bring to the table, I need only remind you that you are tied for first.
Soon...oh so very soon...the lack of a prime time 2nd RB will cripple your team.
I have many by the way who would be available:)

Yeah, all 8 teams make the playoffs. I screwed that up when I created the league.
And I had the first pick and wasn't there for the draft so Yahoo picked Manning for me. I would've picked LT. It was a no-brainer. So if I picked LT, were you going to pick Manning or Alexander, nutz?
I could've had LT and McNabb if only I had shown up before the 2nd round. Instead I got Alexander and McNabb only cause I traded Manning and Rudi Johnson for them.

you're always a kick ass commish in my book. i kinda like the fact that everybody makes it to the championship playoffs.

i wasn't there for the live draft either cuz i had procedures scheduled the whole day that day and i was on call that night. i only pre-set the top 25 or so players. tomlinson was first, alexander was second. manning wasn't in the top ten of my list.
oooh here's my pre-draft list:
1. L. Tomlinson
2. S. Alexander
3. P. Holmes
4. A. Green
5. C. Martin
6. J. Lewis
7. E. James
8. T. Barber
9. W. McGahee
10. C. Portis
11. R. Johnson
12. P. Manning
13. C. Dillon
14. M. Harrison
15. T. Holt
16. D. Davis
17. D. McAllister
18. D. McNabb
19. J. Jones
20. C. Johnson
21. T. Owens
22. J. Walker
23. K. Jones
24. R. Wayne
25. C. Brown
26. D. Culpepper
27. R. Moss
28. S. Jackson
lol wow thank god i didn't get some of those picks i pre-set cuz i did it in 10 minutes when i was eating lunch and filling out forms.
i was hoping for a top three pick cuz i knew that probably one of us would've drafted manning in the top three. i was hoping for tomlinson or alexander and then plan the order so i end up with harrison, holt or owens since it's a three WR setting.

i'm the only player to break triple digits so far this week.
close match up between angry and annie. with angry's marvin harrison and annie's colts defense yet to play. it's ok. like a true bud, i voted for angry yellow males to win and my vote is good luck.
i don't even know what happened between k-town and betheredskins.
next week is gonna be the toughest matchup for me against k-town, despite the beat down i gave him in week 3 which yielded me 161 pts, cuz palmer and tomlinson have their bye weeks. but, i make no excuses. i will be victorious if even by the slimmest of margins.
i need roethlisberger to come back! my hines ward and heath miller are suffering!

Panthers cheerleaders charged after bar arrest
November 7, 2005
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Two Carolina Panthers cheerleaders were arrested at a bar where witnesses told police the women were having sex in a restroom stall, angering patrons waiting in line.
Renee Thomas, 20, of Pittsboro, N.C., and Angela Keathley, 26, of Belmont, N.C., were taken to Hillsborough County Jail early Sunday. Witnesses said the women were having sex with each other in a stall at the club in the Channelside district.
They were kicked off the team Monday for violating a signed code that bans conduct embarrassing to the team or organization, Panthers spokesman Charlie Dayton said.
Thomas was charged with battery for allegedly striking a bar patron when she was leaving the restroom, then landed in even more trouble after police said she gave officers a driver's license belonging to another Panthers cheerleader who was not in Tampa.
Thomas, who made the trip to Florida for Sunday's game between the Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was released from jail on $500 bail before police learned she was not the person she claimed to be.
Detectives were trying to determine how Thomas got the driver's license of a third cheerleader.
Providing police with a false name is a misdemeanor. However, Thomas was charged Monday with giving a false name and causing harm to another -- a third-degree felony punishable by probation or a jail term of 1 to 5 years, said police spokeswoman Laura McElroy.
Keathley, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, was released on $750 bail about an hour before the Panthers played the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium.
The Panthers cheerleaders were not in town to perform at the game.

for me,
the best pick up by far for me was Mark Brunell off waivers. Even though I had a pretty decent QB anyway in Marc Bulger.
best player drafted is Chad Johnson in the 3rd round.
My best draft steal was Thomas Jones which i picked in the 12th round.
worst player drafted was Michael Clayton with my sixth round pick.
After the draft, my reciever corps looked rather grim and it has been my weakness.
It also didn't help that Deuce Mcallister, my second round pick has been lost for the season, and Priest Holmes, my first round pick has been splitting time with Larry Johnson.
As I stand now, I have nothing worth trading, that I can give.
I'm hoping that in the playoffs all the people with good players will have teams that have already clinched, meaning that they have nothing to play for and will be rested...

I am nervous McNabb wil throw for a lot of yards and toss a couple of TDs to Smith, scoring double TD points for AYM. I hope I am not in for another disappointing high score loss. Go Dallas!
