we get star world, granada uk, comedy channel, E entertainment, nickelodeon and a handful of prominent american, british and canadian stations. the cable sattelite we've subscribed to (e-vision (http://www.e-vision.co.ae)) also offers a combination of local channels such as geo tv (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geo_TV), ARY, al jazeera, the filipino channel etc.

local stations in the U.A.E. also broadcast american/british t.v. shows (gilmore girls, smallville, the sopranos, roswell, naked chef, the practice, boston public etc.) my favorite is monk (http://www.usanetwork.com/series/monk/), starring tony shalhoub (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Shalhoub), which appears on USA network but is broadcast across the middle east on channels one tv (http://www.ontv.ae) and channel 2. i'm also really into NG documentaries (http://www.nationalgeographic.com) :x

Speaking of dating on forums. I met a chick off a forum. Man she sounded like a female version of urkel and she dressed really butch. She lacked social skills forreal. I didn't smash cause she was on that 'lets get married first' type of flow and didn't seem like wifey material to me. NOPE!

My aunt is filipina, she helped raised me. I also have a lot of asian cousins and friends and had two asian girlfriends at one time. I know a lil something bout ya'll. Looking at some of these threads, you peeps don't seem like the average asians I know in real life. There are political agendas here. It's amazing. Can you name 5 Asian American politicians and their contributions the Asian American community? What do they do to give back to the community? Asians get picked on by every race. I like under dogs cause I'm one myself. Only people who get it worse by White America are the Mexicans.

I haven't been to any titty bars lately. My left nut is swollen for some reason. I got to go to a doctor and get that checked out before I go because the last time I went, this white girl was grinding on me and I was in pain. This was at Cafe Risque when I was on my way to Tampa early this spring. Cafe Risque got food and buck naked strippers. It was my first time there. Eating an apple pie at the bar while girls are stripping right in front of you a foot away was pretty cool. I felt like I was in the Stone Ages.

Club La Vela is still here. It's still the largest club in the United States(along with its counterpart in Miami). The Rumor Mill said that it was shut down because of drugs but the rich folks who owned it basically paid off enough city officials to get it reopened. I drove by it one day. It's right on Panama City Beach. You'd think a Hurricane would've toppled it by now. I haven't been there yet. I been cruising local chicks on myspace to see if I can get one of em to go there with me cause I don't like hitting up clubs alone. Club La Vela is open all nights on the weekends(That's what the commerical say)

A lot of quiet, conservative types been saying that Club La Vela was giving Panama City a bad reputation for being a party place but WTF do they know since Panama City gets a million peeps here a year and is the number 2 Spring Break joint in the world(number 1 is Miami)?

What do you mean by dead? The pacing is faster than the small town I left because the beach life is kickin and when I went to the sports bar it was packed Friday night. If I think its live now, then I will be in a shock come next spring if what they say is true.

I live down the street from the mall but the mall here sucks. I been to better ones in the midwest. I think I seen some asians there but I can't remember because the last time I went to the mall I was dead set on picking up Common and Chappelle Season 2. I'll let you know what quality asian women they have here next time I go out somewhere.

Since Cafe Risque is a franchise, you most definitely probably went to the wrong one. The girls I saw looked good. I don't know about them serving liquor or not, I only stopped there because I was on my way to Tampa and it was in the middle of a 9 hour drive. I don't usually take naps or rests on road trips. I thought that going to the strip club would wake me up, literally. All I did was put me in pain though. But yeah, you might wanna try not going to the same one you went last time cause these girls looked good and were stark naked.

In retrospect, the champagne room or whatever they call it where they take you back and give you a lapdance for ten minutes was bullshit because you're not allowed to touch. I think it might be because they served beer. I don't like that shit. I probably won't go again because of that.
