Western Conference Finals

As of right now, the Phoenix Suns are getting their asses handed. The talk of not being able to really run the floor and do the things that made them successful in the regular season is coming to fruition. They had a good chance in the first game, but let it go. The second game was a huge letdown, losing homecourt advantage and the possibility of getting swept in San Antonio. So tonight, it happened, SA went up 3-0 and the Suns are left scratching their collective heads. I guess it really comes down to style of play...as it has been said all season long. High scoring, fast breaking, all-offensive teams break down in the playoffs, and we've seen that year after year with the Dallas Mav's (these past recent playoffs, with the exception of that one run to the conference finals).

So I guess it shouldn't really be any different right?

Eastern Conference Finals

Dwayne Wade came back and posted some great numbers to match the Pistons, 1-1. Tomorrow, they're at the Palace and Miami has to regain home court advantage to win this thing. Shaq isn't doing much and I wonder if it's from all his shit talking. The Pistons just have a better team D concept and we all know that D wins games, especially in the playoffs. I'm not sure how this one will go, but without a dominating Shaq the Heat will have a tougher hill to climb. Add the experience factor and the favor falls on the Pistons.

Prediction: Suns win 1 game against the Spurs and go down 4-1.
It's hard to say anything about the Pistons-Heat. I still think the Pistons suck and the Heat are lukewarm, but I guess we'll see what happens in a week or so.

Geez, I haven't paid close attention to basketball in a long time.

The only time I know what's going on is if I listen to the sports in the morning.

The Pistons are close to the finals again. I like their chances.

Suns gone....

Is miami or detroit next? Series tied 2-2
2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and Miami is up 69-59

So now comes my dilemna..... I hate the Spurs and I hate the Pistons. I don't necessarily hate the Heat, but I'm upset that Shaq didn't lose some weight while he was in LA and be the force that he could've been.

*sigh* The Suns were my last hope...

this has been a great championship series.

it's like a chess match between popvich and brown. in my opinion, they're the two best coaches in the nba.
