Btw... wtf? Shouldn't they be targeting their main consumers? Which I would think would be younger and I would also think more females than males... So what? Like the lesbian demographic? Oh and I found their voices to be a little creepy... :frown:

It reminds of a horror film I watched a year ago. A little girl in the film was possessed by a demon and there was a scene with her sitting in front of the television quietly singing to herself.

Sort of like the Pocky demon lesbians in the clip. Except with Pocky.

well, that explains it a little more, as i could see some of the U.S.'s female comedians doing something like that over here. How does Japanese comedy work exactly?

Depends on what you mean by comedy I guess. I know there's manzai and since you have a crappy whitey hapa answering this I can't explain what manzai is. I've seen it but it's totally alien to me. In presentation and language.

That's the only type I know. There's stupid show hosts but I don't think they're comedians.

I agree with other people that the commercial was damn creepy. I had to close the window, because I couldn't stand it anymore. That and I shouldn't be watching something like that while sitting in the dark.
