Hey everyone!
I'm Jarrett....- I just found out about this site from another web site...anyhow, I'm a hapa. Mixed Chinese and German.
I'm taking a break from Cornell, and I went back home for a while to N. Virginia/DC metro area (Ashburn, VA) where my mother just moved, so I'm new and don't know anyone.
But anyhow, just wanted to say hi! Hope everyone is doing well.

Chasiubao_Boy, you go to Columbia? :D
As for the sniper, not really much I can do, you know? It's a big area, so I guess the chances of getting hit are pretty minimal, but it's scary how one guy can paralyze the entire region.
By the way, anyone have any suggestions for getting involved in Asian-American advocacy in the DC area?

Hey, Chinalama. Where are you from?
I don't actually speak German, although my grandparents did. Or rather, they spoke Pennsylvania Dutch, a dead dialect of German spoken mostly by traditional Mennonites and Amish (my grandparents were Mennonites...I most definetly am not, of course).
