Okay,
I need to some hard heavy metal to help me get through the mundane task of preparing my financial accounts for the annual tax returns.
At the moment I am listening to Metallica's 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' and 'One.' I also have some stuff by Pantera, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden. I'm not an AC/DC fan so don't bother.
Any recommendations peeps? I'm also partial towards punk-driven riffs. No nu-metal thanks.

Nu-metal? Godsmack, Dropbox maybe?
After all the records I've collected, I've dwindled my collection down to Metallica, Judas Priest, Saxon, AC/DC, & Motörhead.

Interesting choice of musical genres for doing taxes. I guess you're doing your own taxes -- unless you've got a tax accountant that likes listening to that stuff. In college, I listened to a lot of metal to do my calculus studies

i've got an accountant but i still have to prep so when i hand in my folder, its not a complete mess.
btw, came across a band called Eagles of Death Metal's 'I Only Want You' and 'English Girl.' Catchy tunes.

I'm sure s1eve is over his mood, but just discovered -- Metallica hit iTunes, world shrugs (http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/technology/archives/2006/07/26/metallica_hit_itunes_world_shrugs.html)
By Bobbie Johnson / Digital music & movies 04:42pm
Digital naysayers Metallica have finally decided to bite the bullet and put their music up at iTunes. This won't make much difference to most surfers who refuse to dabble with a bit of classic heavy metal... but it is likely to irritate IT journalists who use Metallica as their favourite poster boys for the luddite end of the music industry. Why, it was only last week that I used this hoary old standard myself. Dang!
There I go, turn the page ...
