Looking to see if anyone has their Master from this Program

I know the research and reports of some of their faculty. Seems to be a good program. Ultimately a graduate degree has more to do with who you work with and how you approach it. The key is to find a program that provides both financial and intellectual opportunities.

It could be extremely expensive to live in La Jolla though, with the perfect weather and all.

I would live on campus so cost would be actually not bad. I feel UC San Diego has more opportunities than Monterey Inst.

In terms of academic prestige and profile UC San Diego is definitely a more desirable choice. Also since UC San Diego is a much bigger campus than Monterey, the possiblity for collaboration and resource are likely to be more available...

I suppose we could talk more about this coming Saturday.

Congrats on the acceptance. My vote goes to San Diego on weather alone. If that means anything. : )
