Okay, everybody. With the onset of so many new posters, the thing I warned you guys about earlier has happened. So I'm out. Forget this forum. People are so much less personal, and don't bother to get to know anybody before they start making personal attacks.

With the onset of the most recent threads that have come about, I find that this forum has, for the past few days, made me feel like absolute shit. I appreciated the past when you guys listened to me talk and, though maybe disagreed with me, always heard me out and understood that I grew up differently than a lot of you. But now, nobody bothers to even hear me out before they make personal attacks.

I don't appreciate being referred to as a white apologist, being the brunt comments like "you really are a nympho," and having somebody accuse me of being a "slut for white cock." I always liked to post in this forum because nobody ever said shit like that.

Oh yeah. I think the main reason I'm leaving YW is because nobody seems to be able to take the focus off my love life. Suddenly everybody's against interracial dating, and I really am not having it anymore. I think we're being overrun by too many newbies who don't know that the atmosphere around this forum was one of mutual respect and understanding.

Angel, stop kidding around like this. The newbies just weren't used to the way things are around here. Besides why should you be the one to leave? I'm sure everyone enjoyed your posts whether they agreed or not. At least you try to maintain your directness and honesty. The more you keep posting, the more these peeps will understand about different perspectives in this world.

Hey, don't get scared off by a bunch of newbies that don't know how to control their friggin' tongues! Let the moderators do their jobs and those making the vulgar, personal attacks and non-constructive comments'll hopefully clean up their acts. But if you do go, your presence will be missed!=(

i know that a few members in particular have personally attacked you regarding your relationship. however, i feel you should stay active, as you have despite their comments for the sake of everyone else. i'm sure you'll be losing something if you leave YW, and i know that we as a community and me, as an individual will be losing a significant lot if you do. if the negative outweighs the positive, i support your decision to leave, but otherwise, i think you should stay. :(
