We should add some of these cool smileys to the site.

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier on this. The link you provided doesn't seem to work...

I checked today (just now) with Netscape version 7.0 and it seems to be working. Let me check with IE. Ok, IE 6.0.2600 seems to work also. Oh yeah... now I remember. That site goes up and down sometimes. Too many users and too little CPU time and bandwidth.

It would be great if you could ask to incorporate some of those cool smileys in YW by asking the webmaster or owner of the site. As far as I know, Bill Strong is both the owner and administrator for the site.

His e-mail is bikeboy@racingstrong.com (from his website racingstrong.com).

If they are public domain, that would be even better.

Thanks.

How strange, for some reason, the link works now. Anyway, I do have smilies that are larger, but I seem to remember there was an issue of formatting, but I'll check again. Thanks for the tip...

I just want to say that I don't like the emoticon with the tongue. Whenever I type :P onto a message, it's to represent exasperation. But the tongue emoticon on this site looks like its taunting, not exasperated. I wish it looked different.

Yes, you probably hit that server at a better time.

Formatting issues are terrible. Hopefully, if they are incorporated into YW (hint hint), they will just push the text line down or over and not ruin things.

Those smileys are funny as hell!! http://www.mr2ownersclub.com/images/smilies/ladys-man.gif

i just have a comment on one of the existing smilies. i don't know if someone has mentioned it, but i think that the "retard" one is a bit offensive. i have a brother who has down syndrome and i just don't like people calling other people (or even themselves) retarded because it's degrading to the people who actually have mental disabilities.

enygma, I apologize if you took offense. It certainly wasn't meant to be taken maliciously. It's been removed.
