View Full Version : Severe Discrimination Against Asians At Nyu

I am an NYU student and the following story is perhaps the most lucid evidence for white "man's" hatred toward us:

I have always been a person who expresses my opinion openly about controversial issues. However, at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, my opinions about race were all but tolerated. I was threatened, harassed and even physically assaulted just for my beliefs. Several times, I was nearly expelled.

But that's not the most of it -- in September 2003, a black girl presented a script in which Asians were stereotyped. When I stereotyped blacks in my writing, virtually all the whites turned on me immediately, but when she did the same thing to my race, none of the whites made a passing comment of it. I defended myself by stating that blacks were stupid, and for that I was thrown out of class. All of the students reported that I was racist, yet they never mentioned anything about her racism. In fact, I was practically treated like a criminal for my beliefs on ethnicities, but the black girl received absolutely no harsh treatment for the exact same thing.

In an odd sidenote, the professor took great offense when someone stereotyped hicks, but said "I cannot imagine any way in which the [black student's] script insulted you". Really? Insulting Asians is clearly a bigger deal than insulting hicks.

In response, when I met one of the whites who testified against me in 2004, I spat in his face. I was subsequently suspended, but they decided to give me my degree anyway. It is strange that when he requested security, his call was heeded, but when I was attacked by a white two years earlier, my request was denied.

It is clear that the whites are the problem, since they are the ones who have the most societal authority. Ever since then, I have turned most of my media power (I am now a published novelist) against them.

Just thought the Asian community should know. I am a highly intelligent person (genius IQ), and for as long as I live, I intend to treat whites and probably blacks as though they were less than s*it. I encourage other Asians to do the same.

Please complain to NYU at 2129981543 or at the professor at kreich8462@aol.com

umm... let it be known that YW absolutely does not condone this behaviour. comments from individual members, as usual, does not represent YW unless otherwise specified by the admins and mods.

an-eye-for-an-eye is not a conducive way to take on racism and stereotyping.

This could be a fraud generated by someone in that professor's class to make the one "Asian Indian" in the class look like an extremist nutcase.

You never know.

You never know.

"Asian Indian" is the first in the list of ethnicities that you're supposed to pick in your profile. that means if you didn't pick an ethnicity, it'll be defaulted to "Asian Indian".

Can we have a name? We do prefer to know who is asking for support.

Haha, yeah get his name and give it to the NYPD.

If this is genuine he might be ready to go "postal" on that class.

one must not go tit for tat. an eye for an eye is wrong. we all must work together to overcome barriers rather than work against each other to create more. we are all god's children not slaves to hammurabi's code.

edit: besides, i thought all you hippies in the village got along.

The "Eye for an eye" principle is inherently flawed; don't be a hypocrite. I was thinking about going to NYU too, but this really turns it off.

All I know is, I got accepted to NYU and turned them down - and those people still haven't stopped sending me flyers and invitations to events and stuff.

Also, it sounds like you're kind of a dick. Maybe you can use that genius-level IQ to find a solution to your problems, instead of whining about them here?

I wouldn't let one random, unverified account from an anonymous person on the internet restrict your higher education choices.

jesus christ you are a fucking idiot. i've not one ounce of sympathy for you, for the negativity you've recieved is what you've undoubtedly deserved. a highly intelligent person, you say? hardly. in fact i pity you.

Wow... a racist person, telling other people who are "his kind", to be racist against people whom they've never met. That sure seems familiar.

No single race has done me any harm. Only individuals with closed minds, who think certain people are lower than them, simply due to their superficial differences, have ever done anything bad to me.

Well..I didn't straight out deny looking into the school; being realistic, this stuff will happen anywhere you go.

lol. i hate the system. anyways, i'm sure there are a lot of other peole that you can contact about this matter closer to NYU. also, I suggest that you write into their local newspaper concerning this issue as well as the dean of the school discussing the discrimination that you experience, but i'd like to point out if you're just promoting more racism and anger you're not likely to get much sympathy.

I am a highly intelligent person (genius IQ), and for as long as I live, I intend to treat whites and probably blacks as though they were less than s*it."Highly intelligent" people don't generally lump entire races of people together and single them out for mistreatment solely due to the isolated acts of a few. With that kind of attitude, I'm not surprised no one there likes you.

I am inclined to believe some parts of his story because in our society, anti-asian racism is looked upon as "less important" compared to the struggles of black people. Since blacks have suffered from slavery, whites infected with white guilt causes them to turn a blind eye when they (blacks) are racist. This then festers into the current mentality that blacks are somehow allowed to be racist and their racist actions are less important than, say, white racism.

But on the other hand, this person sounds like an arrogant pompous jackass which I really wouldn't listen to on a day by day basis.

I agree. I think he should have listed his grievance instead of spitting...phlegm is gross anyway. My drama teacher in high school recognized this problem and made us write a script about it.
