straight hair turning curly in late-20s?

When I was a kid, I had straight, thick brown hair. Then at puberty, it turned black and and not quite so straight. Now I'm 26, and in the past few years it has been turning even more wavy, even on dry days. I actually kind of like this, because when I have my hair really short, it lies flat on my head and is very easy to style. Has this happened to anyone else before? I know changes are common during puberty, but changes in your late twenties?

Isn't this the norm? I thought almost everybody had head hair that's a shade or two darker than beard and body hair. I have black hair, brown beard, and mostly black pubes, except when they're tie-dyed and braided in a little Qing-dynasty queue.

i have the opposite...when i was younger i had beautiful ringletty hair and now its just wavyish...colourwise its remained pretty black throughout

My hair went from straight to wavy after it was shaved off in my early teens. It's lighter now too. As is my skin.
