I use Creative Sound Blaster external sound card (29.99). It sort like a video capture card. It comes with the Creative music Juke box software and player. Just plug a mic into the Sound Blaster and hit record. The amount of storage you have equates to the lenght of your recording.
Just google Creative USB sound blaster
