Actually I think everybody should know about tossing salad. That alone keeps me from doing some serious federal crimes............ugh. I........just........couldn't.........do it. I don't even like the idea of kissing another male or telling him "I love you", let alone THAT shit.

Okay, the term popularized during a Chris Rock standup bit, tossing salad, refers to oral stimulation of another's anus. In the context of prison, an act of submission or initiation for protection and/or contraband. More specifically, the tongue passes the anal sphincter through to the anus. Sometimes "dressing" such as syrup is used to make the activity more palatable.

I generally take rimming to mean oral stimulation of the anus without penetration.

Considering how most people aren't in tune with their anal sphincter, it's generally pretty difficult to get your tongue past that, unless you have an amazingly strong tongue. If you can get past the anus and into the rectum you're a rockstar.
