Here is one for you to ponder!

Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than
100%?

We've all been to those meetings where someone wants over 100%
How about achieving 103%?

Here's a little math that might prove helpful.

What makes life 100%?
if: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z

is represented as:

Then:

So, it stands to reason that hard work and knowledge will get
you close, attitude will get you there, and bullshit will put
you over the top.

But, look how far ass kissing will take you.

Well, I don't think he would be considered attractive if the person in charge of hiring is a silver male. My experience is those silver guys aren't really fond of golden boys (and to a lesser extent the bronze and copper fellows also).

Well, what I always used to hear a few years ago about Silicon Valley is that they didn't care if the guy was an emerald as long as he could do the job they'd hire him. Totally different perspective growing up there as a kid and working in that environment after college, (during the boom) etc. But, ... btw, I believe there is an article on modelminority.com where some a**hat says something along those lines ...

the braves are suckers. they choked, just like the yanks. thought they'd both be in the series, but instead they both choked.. and the friggen giants are still in?

I'm in the central time zone now (only 2 hours difference). The clock time is wrong, the advice in the forums to change to the other skin (and then change the time) doesn't work since that's not an option. Btw, the other time zone is accurate for London, but I haven't been there in over 3 years (and only in the airport passing through).

The Braves need to go through another youth movement, let the young guys play and save some money.

Too do well in a job you just need to do 10% better then everyone around you. so if everyone is lazy (50% effort) then you can do 60% and excel. Then I a few that do the full 100% and those guys/gals really stand out.
