Today at work I was sans cell phone since my hubby took it out of my briefcase and neglected to put it back, and out on a jobsite. I summoned OnStar (read: I pushed my little Batman OnStar button) and in about 90 seconds I was with an operator buying cell phone time with a credit card. Yeah, the crew onsite had no idea who I was yammering with in my car since I was ALONE, but the point is I was impressed with the service when I was in a remote location.

The cell phone dialing by voice has difficulties at high speed because of interference from road noise, but overall the reception is excellent. People on the other end have said it's very clear. I hear them over my speakers.

Cool technology and service.

I don't like the fact that it started out with Cadillac, but if it's good enough for Honda/Acura, I suppose it ought to be alright for the rest of us. How much is the service?
