Yep, some asshole smashed my side window in. I'm hoping it'll cost me less than $150 to repair but I dunno if this is possible...

I think I have a source, I need to dig up the phone number from a guy at work.
You might wanna post Year/Make/Model and which side (passenger or driver).

But the best way to go about this is to pick up that yellowbook and call every single place you find and ask them "how much." Manufacturer's glass (as with everything else) is prolly going to be about 40% more expensive than other aftermarket brands, if they even have them.

I'll get back to you.

Sorry to hear, achtungbaby.

Just to narrow down mrazntre's suggestion, I'd say start with places that specifically deal with auto glass (rather than general auto body or repairs). A friend of mine had her side window redone; I was surprised that it was only a little over $100.

No luck from the people at work here.

Although one guy paid about 150 for his side window about 8 months ago.

If you come up to SF, you can give a shop called Glass Masters a call, ask for Jackie and tell them Korea Autobody directed you their way. My sis tells me you and Kasie are gonna head up, if you drive, it might be worth your while. Which window got smashed in and what kind of car?
