Depends, i don't want a "first love", not since high school. Give me someone who's real.

You only want to be the 'last love' if it's your Mr. Right. And for guys, it might set up expectations if you're her first love. She might get latchy and to you it's just sex.

I don't see why a a woman wouldn't want "Girls wish to be his last."
Better that, then him sneaking around for a possible new "last".

Is the "first love" thingy supposed to be the politically correct way of saying the man wants a virgin?

I can. Guys rarely exhibit their known worst traits early in a relationship. It's not like males are the only ones calling the shots on if a relationship continues or not. There are plenty of women that want him to look around a new woman. Ask any woman filing an order of protection.

to John> guys want a virgin then move on, girls want to marry/have faithful guy. in an ideal sense, i'd say there's some truth to it.

Only ideally, though. The "danger" of the so-called "virtue" of virginity is that the person just might end up wanting to explore their newly-awkened sexual identity with other people once those fires of first love start a-dwindlin' down...
Maybe people are better off being metaphorical virgins!

I think that the virgin thing is some stupid fantasy that proves to be shitty because sex should be symbiotic, rather than like a traffic cop directing traffic after a semi loaded with nuclear waste crashes into a gas truck.
i'm not talking about getting wit a ho or nothing, but IMO, it'd be best if the girl was slightly experienced.
i'm with mrazntre. experience is preferred. no bloody towels, no "ohh, it hurts. lets stop and rest." and no "what position is that?". too much of a hassle.

not me. when i was younger i enjoyed being the pain bringer.
when she says it hurts, it's not really a "bad" type of hurt. it's a "good" type of hurt. so just plow right through and keep pounding away at your pace.
nowadays, if i meet a woman that's a virgin that's my age, i stay the fuck away.

He was just asking about a saying he heard, I think. It's not meant to be a truism so much as a witticism or commentary on the differences between what men and women either want, or want within terms of how they're socialized.
To expand the topic a bit, you could look at the impossible cliched ideals that hetero men and women want in one another: the slutty virgin and the sensitive bad boy. Does everyone want these? No, but they are ideals that exist somewhere in some societies' sexuality and this is the sex forum... so it could be fun to talk about it. To my recollection the topic hasn't been covered here before.
