Here be the trailer. They did manage to get the costume right for her this time, but only time will tell if the character is accurate, seeing as how they effed it up in Daredevil.

She sucked in a crappy movie. For the love of God, why make a movie based on her?

Trailer has finally been released. I guess it's pretty faithful to an extent, they do have Typhoid Mary. The rest of the storyline...I don't know.

Well, let's see... In the DAREDEVIL comics, Elektra was a Greek ninja.
Greek. Ninja.
So really, any liberties the filmmakers take with the story will follow the spirit of Frank Miller's writing, even if it doesn't follow it to the letter...

What? It's not like there are a lot of Japanese ninjas running around, these days. I guess someone had to take over. *LOL*
Actually, there's a small town somewhere on an island in Japan... I can't remember where it is, now... where it's part of the tradition to practice ninjitsu. There's documented footage.

Well, it's Marvel, so I have to support it. Plus the fantastic four trailer is supposed to be on it, so they'll more than likely get my money for that alone. This one seems a little more faithful to the comic as far as the storyline and characters, but I've just seen commercials.

No offense or anything but this movie looks like a good helping of steamy canine fecal soup.

We'll probably end up seeing this. I'm a sucker for action movies, and this looks pretty action-y.

finally watched this. i thought it was good. but the girlfriend thought it sucked.
i like the non-specified powers that the characters have, but i thought the mental communication part was cheesy. and i don't know what was up with that guy that got his ass kicked by the 13-year old. what was his powers anyway?
however, i did wish that not all the Asian characters were portrayed as the bad guys, even though that's basically how it is in the comic book. i did not follow Elektra's comic book storyline very closely. anybody want to elaborate on the differences?

Was anyone else perturbed by Jennifer Garner's greasy, overbite? I kept fixating on it, because it was so puffy and, well, just plain greasy.

Lips were greasy. Very unappealing. And at the risk of sounding like a hater, her shirt thing wasn't doing any favors for her midriff.

and another thing...
her one-handed pull-ups totally kicked G.I. Jane's one-handed push-ups' ass.

Never noticed the lips thing but when I passed Daredevil on cable, her skin always looked "waxy" like a candle for some reason. I got the feeling that if you touched her, your hands would be coated with grease.
I don't mind her lips and I haven't seen any screenshots of her midriff. Does she have a roll(s)?

No, her tummy is actually very toned, but the shirt makes her look thick, and her hips are very boyishly slim, so the overall effect is that she looks like a cylinder.
Mind you, this is just my nit-picky opinion.

And the ass is packed.

That was a good part.
This movie was almost on the brink on being a dark made-for-tv flick.
It needed to be darker -- without the weird kid flashbacks.
.

It was even. Spots of boring character explorations mixed with good violence mixed with simple effects.

Those calogen looking lips got me.
