Probably the best sushi buffet that I've been to
-They have like 15 types of sushi that are made right in front of you so you know its fresh.
-Also, they have korean and Japanese hot food as well but no shrimp tempura

Indian Garden, Rockville MD
One of the better Indian lunch buffets that I've been to,
-Really good tandoori chicken
-Electic foods ranging from vegetarian to meat

buffets all suck because the food has been sitting for hours at a time, people spread their germs all over the place and quality cannot be reproduced in quantity.

otherwise, as a kid, when we went to Vegas, Excalibur had a great buffet. Circus Circus was great too and we always headed over there, but only because it was cheap. I went to the seafood buffet at the Rio, but it wasn't very good and the 35/person wasn't very nice on my wallet.

Has anybody been to TODAI (http://www.todai.com) buffet? Most locations are on the West Coast. Heard it cost like $25 but worth it.

the food is okay, but the sushi's been laying out for 2 hours (imagine the bacteria build up) and the rice is all dried out and stale. I think 20/20 or another tv show did a special on Todai and they found a lot of crap in the sushi. Sushi isn't meant to lay around.

I dunno what else to say about it. I'd rather just go to a real Japanese place and order a box lunch or something.

I guess sanitary issues apply to all buffets, especially ones with sushi. I bet I'd tear the hell up out of that food, tho, regardles of how real it is. Just hope for the best that I don't get sick.
