Okay, so what was the most recent CD you bought? Not as in the newest music, but what you bought last time around at the store, the net, the used record shop, etc.
Last night I went to go get the newest Ladytron (http://www.emperornorton.com/mod/artistpage.php3?artist=ladytron) but the store didn't have it and it was too late to go somewhere else, so I bought Run DMC's Greatest Hits (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006HCW6/) instead.
YO!
It's tricky to rock around to rock around that's right on time it's tricky!
tricky tricky tricky.

^-- I agree on the J5. Those boys are tiight. They got some new shit coming out I think. Unless it already came out. Last time I was at the store, it wasn't out yet.
Last cd I bought was... Mark Farina -- Connect.
But I went RECORD shopping the other day. Got some jungle records. =)

Jurassic Five is hot. I also like X-Executioners, arguably the best scratch artists ever.
Bought:
Ludacris "Disturbing Tha Peace"
Lil' Kim "Notorious K.I.M."
last night at HMV when I went out to grab dinner.

I'll give it up to J5, but there's hands down no competition for Tribe Called Quest. Old school, but hard to beat, eh?
The jungle mix of 1nce again is awesome. esp cuz my all time favorite jungle dj, ak, mixes it on lock & roll. cant beat ak1200 mixing over q-tip!!! =D *boooinnng*

Last two CDs I bought were Ludacris: Word of Mouf and Jermaine Dupre: Instructions. I actually despise Jermaine Dupre, but I like the one song with Nate Dogg (Ballin' outta control?) and I haven't gotten music off the net since Napster shut down way back when.
I need broadband.

I was hoping you could sing all the songs I wanted and record them into MP3 for me. Do you think you could do a version of All Eyez on Me?

the linkin park reanimation cd is REALLY good... even though they're just remixes, the songs have been tweaked so much it sounds like a whole different cd. i HIGHLY recommend it! :D

Yeah, I keep swiping my friends' Reanimation cds. I can't get sick of it. Reanimation for upbeat and hype. Queen of the Damned for downbeat and gothic.

Hey now! Retarded East Coast vs. West Coast BS aside, I think both Biggie and Tupac were great rap artists.
