Personally I like the Shrimp Tempura roll and Smoke Eel roll. Lately, I've been craving salmon and Spicy Tuna rolls.
Whats your favorite type of Sushi?

I actually like something few people would list as a favorite; chirashizushi. Definitely influenced by my mother's tastes.

Well, if you wanna get technical about it, then the rolls don't count either cuz they're maki, not sushi. But I could be wrong...
Unagi
Amaebi
Tako
Uni
Battera (when in season)
Mirugai sashimi
Spider roll
whatever specialty roll from the chef that sounds good; sometimes some joints have their own creations.
sometimes an "omakase" night will serve you straight if you don't wanna think...just don't do it at Masa's unless you got $500 just to sit down!

my dad used to pick up uni on his drive home from work when i was really, really small. i used to love the flavor and texture of it. i never knew what it was exactly until a few years ago. i was disgusted. but i still fucking love it.

never had sushi ;D
but i always loved the way it looked and displayed and served.
...like perfect pieces of clay.
looking at sushi doesn't make you disgusted at the word "raw"
it looks beautifully clay-y.

1) Spicy Tuna Roll
2) Prawn Tempura Roll
3) California Roll
4) Ebi
I can't stomach sashimi. Chunks of raw fish aren't exactly appealing in my book.

Salmon Avocado
Those are my favorites. Yummmm.

My usual order is:
- 2 Uni (where I come from they are the roe of the spiny sea urchin)
- 2 Ikura - salmon roe
- 2 Unagi
- 1 tako
- 2 sawara
- 1 sake maki with avacado roll
- 1 sea scallop suprise roll
Probably to the dismay of the sushi chef, I tend to mix my sushi up a bit. Where I go, (Monster Sushi in midtown Manhattan) they pile on ample Uni and Ikura, so I'll carefully take a few of the eggs off and onto the salmon roll, or the sea scallop suprise. I like the combinations. Wonder if I should give them names. Nah! Much more fun to tinker with it myself!
Oh, I could use some good sushi right now, but the next Sushi place (or fresh seafood place for that matter) is several thousand miles away.
Never had Fugoo though. I keep thinking of a Simpson's episode where Homer demands of the sushi parlor, "Fugoo me!". the chef had left and the busboy is in the kitchen looking at a fish diagram - Tasty Parts - Deadly Parts.

Eel is also one of my favorites. Isn't there a holiday in Japan comeing up? Eel Day where you eat grilled eels because it helps give you strength on hot summer days!

I love all sushis
Okay so I am a snob (surprise, surprise...), with sushi I am ultra picky (like all other cuisines anyways). It has to be fresh, and run by well trained Japanese chefs. Otherwise I’d rather not have any. I’d rather go once in three or six months, but only decent places. I cringe when I see people going to cheap sushi places. As my Japanese buddy tells me, typically chefs from those cheap joints go to the fish market late in the day to buy the cheapest fish…
You can always gauge a place by the wasabi and the ginger.
I don’t know. I do not like places that disgrace the cuisine.
So pretty much all you can eat places are out of the question. I’d never yield.
^dayum! high maintenance!
i eat sushu wherever i can get it including chinese buffets.
