What's your beer of choice.
I tend to drink Dos Equis, Blue Moon and Sam Adam's Summer Ale and the Pale Ale. Tried the funky kinds as well, but thats what I normally keep in my fridge.

I live in the land of microbrews so I usually get it fresh down the street. Widmer Hefeweizen. But if it's bottled -- Pilsner Urquel. Occasionally, a Japanese beer. I'm not too fussy about Japanese brands.

I like super cold Molson Dry. Whenever my dad drinks beer, he drinks Black Ice. I don't like that stuff.

No, being mildly allergic to alcohol I stay away from the cheap stuff. Unless it's free.

What I want to know is what the hell is in Singha. That stuff knocks me flat on my keister in no time.
I think I've actually started to get the upper hand on asian glow. Beer makes me pretty red still, but I've noticed I can more easily take a glass of wine with dinner these days. C'mon Western genes!

Hahah! In Thailand they actually put ice in their beer, so Singha is prepared just a leeetle bit stronger to maintain the proper alcohol content and taste when it's watered down by the ice.

Yeah, I get that a lot, too. Sometimes when I'm feeling particularly girly, I'll get a Berry Burst Cider. Once we got the 7-Spotter. Damn, they have a lot of nasty tasting beer there.

Just had a visual of janet on a park bench with a bottle of Mad Dog in a brown paper bag.
Though I think she really means like Smirnoff Ice and such.

by the way, did anybody know that Tsingtao is actually made with German brewing techniques? Yup, the city of Tsingtao was a German concession and the Germans started breweries there.

well, neither is karizma for that matter, but at least she's 17.
louisiana has a legal drinking level of 18. they're the only state with that age set as legal. all others are 21. in CA, vendors can't sell alcohol between 2am and 6am, but in louisiana they can sell it whenever the hell they want to.

Malt liquor IS beer.
Maybe you mean... "malt beverage"? *Giggle* I've had malt liquor. If you don't like beer, you'll hate that shit. It's like beer x 1000. LOL =)

I only get that when I've crossed the point of no return. If I start getting red, you know I'm gonna puke if I drink any more. I usually just keep drinking.

Has anyone else tried the Sam Adams Triple Bock?. It's 17.5% alcohol in a beer and aged.

I kinda liked it.

Sound pretty fucking scary.
I didn't learn to appreciate beer (and alcohol for that matter) until two years ago. What's strange is that I've been drinking it since I was in the 10th grade. My favorite beers are DosEquisLager, Corona, Guiness...
Damn, Guiness float sounds pretty damn good. I'll hafta try that some time...

ehh... i actually can't stand the taste of beer. the only time i'll drink it is if i'm drunk enough to the point where everything tastes like water anyway. i'm more of a hard liquor guy. asian glow doesn't seem to affect me. never had it before in my life... but my brother glows like crazy after just a few!

No, not a float, but from reading Cannery Row I got the idea to try a beer milkshake and Guiness is what I used. Damn tasty.
