Nice school. That was one of my sister's first choice. Then she wants to be a brain surgeon. Don't ask why....shes wants to buy a half a million dollar home and afford a Rolls Royce in the future. :)
Brain surgeon?! Seems like an awful lot of trouble to get a 1/2 million dollar home and a Rolls... Marry rich, I say. Anyone wanna sponsor a burnt out first year attorney??
BTW, though I went to 'SC for law school, I started off as and will always be a Bruin.

1/2 millions dollars for a home isn't very expensive, but a rolls royce is.
godsh. so many intellectuals on yw.
university of southern california, ucla, university of chicago.
isn't chicago supposed to be one of the most racially segregated cities in the country?
marry rich, eh? well, someone marry me then.

Depends on where in the city you live in to spend half a million...
Here in charlotte, Nc..that type of money can get you a 3 story, 7 bedroom, 3 door garage, a living room, bonus room , sunroom and 5 bathrooms.

California is so expensive..a 2 million dollar home like in the hollywood hills that has 9 bedrooms, a spa, 8 bathroom and alot of land....is worth like $800,000 over here. This korean chick i still hang out with lives in a $798,950 home...damn, her parents own some candy stores too..

I love those streets around Berkeley. what were they? University Dr? St.? College Rd? I love that there's almost everything you need on 2 streets. I also got my first tatts at Zebra's. I think the two places I would like to live are here in the LA area or up there in the SF area.

You mean Telegraph? That place is DIRTY! Back in the day (probably 5 or 6 years ago), I was walking down Telegraph with my little brother. As we passed by these two punk-looking kids sitting on the ground, one of 'em said, "You can spit on me for a nickel." Hmmm...

Re: foolishgirl a few posts up
that makes us classmates cuz i'm a master's student at UChicago. I'm done w/ classes but need to do my thesis, which i will do from the comfort of my home because i ain't going back to a city w/ cold weather in May...
and my undergrad was Penn (also likewise not a state school).
and my high school was the kick ass Hunter College High School (aka Stuy Rejects School).
so i'm a real snob...but without the refinement =/. 8)
