Dating Shows?

Anyways, seems like dating shows are making me more of a tv junkie than I already am... Has that been the same for you too?
What are your faves? I've been watching Elimidate, and Meet My Folks. I'm starting to get into Ex-treme Dating, but that's in a busy time slot, so I'm often watching something else then. Blind Date was cool, but it looks like it has become 5th Wheel. I haven't been able to catch much of Shipmates.

Did anyone see Ex-treme Dating on Monday night, when there was an Asian guy (Simon) with his 2 Asian ex-gf's (Pearl and May)? What did you think of that one?

Ya know, I used to watch shows like Blind Date but I started getting sick of them with the advent of all the other reality-TV crap. Glad to hear there are more Asian males getting some exposure though.

The only one I've watched is the TLC Channel BLIND DATE...where someone will play matchmaker for 2 of their friends and set them up to go out on a date. Most of the time, the two end up not calling each other ever again, but it's entertaining to watch anyways. It's more 'G' rated than Blind Date or some of those other scandalous blind date TV shows! :unsure:

Did anyone see the episode of Blind Date last week where the guy (who looked like he might have been part-Asian himself but also might have been Latino) admitted to having "yellow fever" (his term) and told the show that he wanted to date an Asian woman? The show did set him up with an Asian. The date seemed to be going pretty well, and they both seemed to have a lot in common (they both held hands and prayed before dinner). But as soon as the guy brought up "yellow fever" at the dinner table, it made the woman uncomfortable, and the more he went on about it, the more uncomfortable she became. At the end, she said that she didn't want to date the guy again.

there's an audition for some show that involves a single person 18-30, and their must be married parents. it's at diablo valley college, in pleasant hill. i heard about it on the radio.

My friend is gonna be on Meet My Folks sometime soon. They are filming next week. She told me some of the shit they make her do, and I'm amazed. They really try to stir up a lot of drama.

i sometimes skim by Blind Date when it's on UPN, but I think it's a sad excuse for a show. Why couldn't they show more Married with Children eps? :P

Well, good thing Cosby Show is onlt TBS at the same time as Blind Date, so it's not like i'm stuck. :)

my friend was telling about one episode where they had the worlds meanest korean girl from LA, and they went canoeing and she wasnt down for it, and the guy docked the boat and it capsized and ruined her LV bag, and she lost her gucci sun glasses and she ripped that guy a new one, called him a mother fucking and went off on him.
