I would say it depends on your definition of mama's boy. I'm more likely to encourage and support a man's relationship with his mother than feel slighted because of it. But of course if it's like Norman Bates dysfunctional then I'd pass on that situation.

She was in his life long before me and I don't want to be his mommy, so I'm cool with mama's boys.

A guy who has respect for his mama shows that he is capable of revering women. That he doesn't think of all women as bitches and hoes or objects not worthy of respect.

I don't define a mama's boy as a man who is dependent upon his mother.
