do you talk on the phone?

everyday I talk on the phone... usually 3 people on average a day. It depends what I'm talking about that determines how long I'm on the phone with a person. If it's about a mundane thing then not more than 5 minutes. If it's a friend, maybe not more than 1/2 hour on average. If it's a significant other, it's usually not more than 45 minutes to an hour, but I have talked on the phone for more than 2 hours with someone. I really don't have a set limit.... it just happens to be like this lately.

I only use the phone to make plans to go places. It's usually call, say "let's do something", hang up, and meet up. I only have conversations on it with my boyfriend, so I use it often enough. During the summer, we used to talk from night until next morning and then see each other. Can you blame us for being night owls?

I call my mom and mother-in-law every other day to see how they're doing. My mom because her husband just passed away and my MIL to see how she's dealing with chemo. I'm like a one woman pep squad.

Although (on a cheerier note) I used to be glued to the phone in high school. Like the girls you see on TV ads.

only when people call me, but then again no one calls me anyhow, so that's not a problem.

i find my cell phone is actually more useful to contact my co-workers so we can meet up for lunch when we're all out and about than anything. I think my company should pay for my cell phone.

i rarely use the phone... i dont hear well on the phone for some reason, it's really annoying. So I avoid the thing as much as possible.

i call my parents and grandparents on a weekly basis b/c i see them only a few times a year and i miss them. my younger brother and i also talk on the phone sometimes (weird, huh?)

every month or so, i'd try to call all my close girlfriends just to see how they are doing.

Yeah, that's how I am online. I only talk to people if they talk to me first, but that's how I am. If they wait for me to talk to them, then good luck because I only start conversations if necessary. People always bother me online anyway, so I won't have to worry about being lonely. I just have to worry about them never leaving me alone.

used to talk to spencer a lot. like a few hours every day. 575+ minutes/week. cus sometimes he'd initiate the call, or call me back. had to call using phone cards so parents wouldn't see the charges on the phone bill.

try to talk to dk a few times a week to see what he's up to.

i'm a talker. last month my cell bill was $400. =( i was bored in SD and i used upwards of 2500 extra minutes. i'd like to think that i'm a good conversationalist. =/

nah, she didn't come. went with my family. it was boring as hell. developed an "i love del mar" thing though. it's beautiful there. i love the beach.

well, i was gonna try to get down to so cali this weekend with my pops, but he left without me. my grandma lives in riverside. can't say when i'll be down again, but i know december for sure.

I hate talking on the phone. Nobody ever calls me except Andrew (nobody puts up with him), Merideth (homework help), or Jen (who needs something of mine). And that's it. Merideth and Jen rarely even call, anyway. Not often, usually... unless with Andrew... he ties me up and it gets often annoying.
