Anyone planning their costume or Halloween party already? Doing the same as I do most years. Handing out plenty of tooth decay to little brats.

luckily for us, we live in a quad and our door is inside another door that needs a key to open. if they actually ring our comm machine, i'll just push the "talk" button and tell them to go away - maybe in Chinese. or maybe we'll open a window and throw some candies at them, we live on the second floor.

once again, i will pretend that i'm not home by leaving the curtains closed, not turning on the lights and being paralyzed in silent fear of being caught when the doorbell rings.

oh man. i was hoping to move into a house
by halloween so i can get all dressed up and
have fun with the trick or treaters.
but i don't see that happening.
that really sucks.

when i have a home of my own. i'm going
all out for the neighborhood kids.
they love that stuff.

actually i did, the first Halloween i spent in the US. i dressed up in a kungfu costume, which was really just what i wore when i used to take kungfu class in HK (only did that for a few months, right before we moved to the US). that was the one and only time. after that, it was egging people's houses with my friends instead of trick or treating.

I'll be holed up in my house in Durham hoping that the one I'm living in isn't haunted.

I wonder how much trouble one would get into giving out airplane bottles of booze.

Actually dressing up after several years of not doing so, only because a female acquaintance is dressing as a french maid and coerced me.

I currently have no plans. Hrm, might check with my roommate to see if Rooms Cafe might have a Halloween party or something.

i hope my friends and i can get a little halloween party together.
as for costumes...ehh, i dunno, i haven't worn a costume in years. 10 years, probably.

i want to do something silly for halloween. specifically, something silly with my hair. but i also want to be cheap. so i'm thinking i might dress up as "generic anime character" and spike my hair up super high. i also want to run around w/a cutout of a giant tear right next to my face.

i'm open to suggestions!

I really wanna check out SF's Exotic Erotic Ball, which is held on the weekend of every halloween. But more than likely, I'll just sit at home and watch scary movies at a friend's house, and ignore the children who come around, and maybe eat late night at a restaurant. If I do dress up, I'll likely have a ski mask, some leather gloves, and piano string, in all black, terrorizing the neighborhood, screaming "I WANT YOUR HEAD!!!!". But then I'd get shot by a cop, so I better not.

on a somewhat related note. kids nowadays are so greedy. they want the expensive candies. the 5 dollar bag of smarties just don't cut it anymore.

i actually had one kid tell me, "that's all you got?" :where's the good stuff?" i replied, "in my tummy" and closed the door on him.

i had another kid who was more tactful when he saw my candy bin and said no thanks and walked away.

buncha greedy brats.

and let's not forget the grown high school and college students ringing your bell for candy. that's just freaky to me.

yeah i got that last year. i was thinking, "what the hell are you shitheads doing?" and then they grabbed huge handfuls of candy and didn't even say anything to me.
