I lived in Brazil for about a year (Rio, to be exact)with my uncle there, before my parents and I came to the US. It was easier to obtain a visa from Brazil and then come to the US, than it was from Taiwan.

I think that's where I obtained my Latin Heat. Ladies come, come to Butthead.

And I own a N'Sync CD. <_< It was a present!

i dont have a birth certificate. i dont know exactly where i was born. the story goes, when i was an infant, i was discovered outside the steps of an orphanage in Ulsan. So ppl had to guess my age.... and its my parents that made up my birthdate. I'm 30.. but technically i can be older... cuz when i was younger, doctors who looked at my bone and teeth structure.. have said that i'm actually older than i really am....

and oh yeah, i like to collect purple sea shells...

I was poisoned by a kidnapper when I was about 5 and nearly abducted. A man drove up to my friend and I as we were playing in my front yard. He was leading us over to the huge trunk of his car when my dad came busting out of the house to confront him. My dad talked to him long enough to memorize his plate, kicked him off the property then called the cops.

Turned out the guy was wanted for child abduction, molestation and murder. He was well known to the local cops. What my parents didn't know was that my friend had accepted candy from the guy and later shared some from me. I ate it, got sick and had to go the hospital.

I have more free floating ribs than the average person.

The right side of my ribcage is trashed. I was practically impaled by a stick during hockey practice. Walked around with 4 broken ribs unknowingly for about 3 1/2 years. One mended so badly I had to have the cartilage removed between it and my sternum.

When I was 4 or something, I got lost in downtown. Luckily, this store owner found me and my parents were grateful as hell. Now they wish I died.
Not a lot of people know that I wear contacts either. And I'm pretty sure that none of you know that my life is devoted to the arts (strongest in visual arts, then literature, then music, then drama).

I used to be able to dunk (yes on a 10' rim) when I was playing high school varisty basketball up till freshman year in college. I tore my knee the end of freshman year of college, some guy undercut me on a dunk attempt in a pickup game.

I had a big crush on a guy named JJ when I was in kindergarten. I used to draw pictures for him and give him candy as presents. I remember in gym class, I was sitting next to him and then I kissed him on the cheek. He was like "ewww" and wiped his cheek.

I was also almost kidnapped when I was little. Some guy in his pick up truck opened the passenger seat of his car and offered to give a ride "home"..... My parents are usually late when they pick me up b/c they're busy working at our family restaurant. So, I'm usually the last person at my grade school ever picked up. As I'm walking around the school's premises, this man just tells me to hop in, but I said no, and he drove off...... close calls. ;)

I've managed to avoid near death incidents while I'm driving. Twice, I was almost killed in a car accident. One time, a man almost hit me head-on while I had the right of way to turn left. Second time was last week when I delayed stepping on the gas pedal because I was trying to get my water bottle back from the child that I have for his therapy. A few seconds earlier, I would definitely be smashed into smithereens.

oh i know...

when i was 18 and choosing a college, the CIA sent me a package saying they'll help me pay for college if i worked for them for 1.5 times the number of years i'd go to school. that would mean that i would work for them for 6 years afterwards if i went to school for 4, and 9 years if i went to school for 6, etc etc. so basically i had to decide what to do for the next 10 years of my life if i decide to take the deal. but i was only 18 and couldn't really make that decision, and also at the time i had all this anti-government mentality. so i didn't take it. maybe i would have been a spy in china or something if i took the package.

Nothing too interesting 'bout me.

I played the "Alphabetical Alligator" in the first grade play, complete with egg carton snout and green tights! (it was then that I developed my love for the stage=P)

Guess that means you won't be able to serve as a Supreme Court justice. Err. Or is that only if you're charged with a felony? Like the guy Nixon appointed or wanted to put on the bench? something like that?

That's tight!

Oh, here's another one: I used to manufacture this really small, no-name all-natural, AHA based skin care product line in undergrad. I started at the company manually filling bottles with these big ass syringes, screwing on the pumps and placing the stickers on the bottles. Next, I was filling orders and eventually I started working in the lab making big tubs of the stuff. The line was called Nonie of Beverly Hills.

*Yeah, I'm blunt, too. I've also got a dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Some ppl get it, some don't.
*I love food and can outeat even some of my guy friends. Everyone who knows me in 'real life' knows this, and theyre amazed I'm not as big as a house.
*I'm a total gym rat (which may explain why I don't rapidly expand horizontally)
*I've never broken a bone, but I secretly wished I did as a kid cuz I thought casts and crutches were cool.
*Similarly, in college, I considered throwing myself down a flight of stairs to break or sprain a limb just hours before a final as a desperate attempt to avoid taking it. I was a total slacker, but panicked and crammed like 2 days before an exam.
*I LOVE tattoos (but not covering entir areas of the body). I have two so far.
*I want to be on MTV the Real World. gosh, this one is really embarassing.
*I want to live and work in Hawaii, but realize it's not realistic for me.

I had to wear green leotards, a little propeller beanie and an alligator snout made of egg cartons. I was on stage all by myself and had to act all the following shit out in synch with the music...

A, alligators all around
B, bursting balloons
C, catching colds
D, doing dishes
E, entertaining elephants
F, forever fooling
G, getting giggles
H, having headaches
I, imitating indians
J, juggling jellybeans...
and I forgot the rest...

i am a descendent of one of the emperor's of china. my mother's side of the family descended from one of his concubines. i dont' know which one, but it was one of the last of a dynasty, since the family had to like go into hiding or something when the dynasty ended. my grandma was loaded because of it and (family mythos) that's why our girls are usually fairskinned and rather pretty. (i apparently got shafted in that one, but i know what my mum is talking about).

related to above, i look like my dad's side of my family. i inheirited no thin-ness, large eyes, or fair skin.

my father's father was a very well-known military general. i don't know any more details.

my father on my mother's side was an important guy in the nationalists side and when they all fled to china, he was shipped out first. my mum and her brothers were smuggled onto a boat in the middle of the night in hong kong later, after walking from shanghai.

i am an artist and sold my first painting in high school for $50. (okay, the only painting i've ever sold).

I was inches away from getting my head cut open for no reason.

I had perfect attendence in middle school and freshman and sophomore year of high school. Then I had a taste of freedom and start skipping more and more. It got much worse when I got to college, I barely went to any of my classes in my freshman and sophomore year. Only until last semester did I finally start going to my classes again.

I can choke down various whole foods with no problem…a Skittle, a lima bean, a short string bean. However, give me a pill and I will not be able to swallow it without going through several long minutes of torture. That is if I ever get it down at all.

It doesn’t matter if the pill is smaller than a Skittle. It doesn’t matter if it’s some fruity flavor.

Pills are evil.

I skinnydipped with some pals one day. No members of the opposite sex were allowed.

I like to dance to salsa and merengue music.

Wow!

Glad you are ok, though.......

And he should've been locked up for life.

What a lowlife scum!

I like to take long walks off short piers.

I like sunny skies as long as it's not too bright.

I like puppies as long as they're not in a box of 10.

New songs come up in my head to write...but usually in the shower. Then it leaves when I finish. Not cool.

Cool, me too

My voice is somewhat lower than average but I can still scream at a higher pitch than most girls if I tried.

I have tried when some friends told me too, and pissed off a lot of neighbors.

I'm a self-diagnosed obsessive-compulsive. I prefer symmetry and I have to count the things in the room, especially planes, straight lines and angles that intersect; for example where the wall meets the ceiling is a line, where two walls meet the ceiling is an intersection. I have to look around the room, take a guess, and then systematically count them to make sure that the numbers add evenly and in pairs.
