Knoxville & Scott are The Dukes of Hazzard

Warner Bros. Pictures has found its Dukes! Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott have just been cast, respectively, as Luke and Bo Duke, in the big-screen adaptation of CBS' 1979-85 The Dukes of Hazzard TV series, People reports in its latest issue.
The magazine says that the studio still hasn't found someone to fill the role of Daisy Duke, but Jessica Simpson apparently remains the frontrunner for the cousin played on TV by Catherine Bach. As for Boss Hogg, the villain played on the show by Sorrell Booke, the studio is leaning toward Burt Reynolds.
The Dukes of Hazzard follows the adventures of cousins Bo Duke (played by John Schneider) and Luke Duke (played by Tom Wopat), and their curvaceous cousing Daisy Duke, as they cavort around the small town of Hazzard County in the hills of Georgia. The Dukes' Uncle Jesse, formerly the moonshine runner in Hazzard County, makes a deal with the government to stop the family trade in exchange for keeping the family out of jail.
Nevertheless, the Dukes have a knack for getting into trouble, which usually involve run-ins with the crooked county boss, Boss Hogg and the town sherriff, Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.
