Circular thingys varies in sizes. Baked with filling made of plum, lotus seeds, black bean, red bean, green tea etc etc. Not a big fan of it, since it's too sweet for me.
Isn't Moon day considered one of the biggest Korean holidays?

Koreans have something similar to moon day, but it''s called harvest day... for lots of families, it kinda overlapps with thanksgiving... i remember celebrating thanksgiving when i was in korea.. that was more of a church thing, here... family thing.. ie.. i cook the damned turkey, make all the trimmings... ah..slave to the kitchen,
but damn it.. i get to pig out.
