I still have to watch the entire new series. : )

damn it looks good.

Wow, it's based on Batou. And Motoko is in the matrix some place. Coolness.

That is just art in motion right there.

i was pretty bored during the whole thing. too much philosophy and not enough blood and robots. too much philosophical talk by the characters about artificial intelligence, humanity, and spirits. someone forgot to tell the writer that subtlety is the key.

I loved the animation, although some of then cgi was really jarring next to the cartoon stuff. The story was...meh.

So I take it everybody enjoyed it, sans the extremely spiritual confusing parts. There's only two theatres here that it's playing at, both of which are downtown. Gotta brave that traffic this weekend.

well i enjoyed the graphics...but i couldn't care less for the story, and i'm sure most ppl here feel the same way. i don't think it's worth seeing at a movie theatre

This baby made my month. I'm one of the few people who actually digs "deep" sci-fi shit that you have to listen to a few times to get.
It got kinda murky with the ex special ops guy in the house and how peeps get their e-brains hacked, but everything else was butter to watch.
Music and sound was on point.
Coulda used some more cussing, though.
