How do you typically break up with a your partner?
Do you typically have messy break ups or clean ones.
How do you ditch that ex that just doesn't understand that it's over.

I break it off by telling the truth and being understanding. Most of my break up has been clean expect for one of them. Which left me in debt*growl*

Ouch, sorry to hear that Chris.
I have two ways to break up:
1)Place the blame on why the relationship bombed on me.
2)Don't call her back.
I did have to change all my phone numbers because of this one psycho chick.
Overall my break ups, have been a mixture of clean and messy.

I dunno 'bout the best way, but as I found out in HS one of the not-so-best ways is to play Tainted Love onto her answering machine.

My friend was a jerk. He shoved her, and was like, "Get out of here, bitch. I don't want your ugly ass." Then he goes and says that my friend was so mean for breaking up with her boyfriend on the phone, and said that he was so nice when breaking up with his girl. I guess at least he broke up in person? o_O

just say
"Get off Deeezzzz Nutz!, Biatch!"
or
the passive aggressive way dont call her for a while then throw the stuff she gave u on her drive way w/ extreme malice.
or
"say its ends now." and walk away w/o explanation.

I also opt for the wussy way out sometimes, by starting to date someone else before having closure on the previous relationship. It could either end up being a clean break up or one hell of a messy one.
Or do what my boy did, "accidentally" forget to pick her up a few times and if she doesn't catch on drive off without her
I think guys in general suck at breaking up.

i just start getting more and more distant from her, but all my break ups tend to be good ones because we still keep in touch.

With those people, I've learned that you have to be tough. They are manipulators and you cannot give them anything to go on. They will take even the most platonic conversation you have with them and twist it into something they want. They will lie, beg, threaten, cry, whatever just to hear something from you that could sound like you might change your mind. You have to just cut them off.
Buoywonder knows.
