Is it me, or are nearly half the threads in here started by women? I think it's great that women are so curious as to what the men are up to though. :D

out of curiosity--what do guys think of females who are so much nicer to males than they are to females?

edit: i had it the other way around. but you guys know what i'm talking about. girls who gush over the guys and claim to be a "guy's girl" but who generally ignore the girls.

i have the answer:

BECAUSE women are so damn nosy, they intrude into our lives and try to tell us what to do, either directly or subconsciously. It's like women think that they have to "fix" us to their specs or else we're simply not good enough for them. Get some pottery clay and mold it any way you want women. Leave us be.

hmmm... perhaps that pottery scene in "Ghost" starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore is symbolic of the woman wanting to mold the man... scary...

beggars can't be choosers.
so i'm not picky. at least i dont consider myself.

don't much like those chicks. i am amy. only amy. always will be amy. not hey i'm a guy's kinda girl amy, or.. ooooh drool over me amy, or hey baby, wanna dance amy. .or anything like that. just amy. did i make that clear enough to understand?

as much as i'd like to be a guy myself, when there're chicks who are guy's chicks by means of watching sports not for the sport, but for the attention from the guys, "hey, look at me!" kinda people, it irritates me. attention hogs. and no, i'm not complaining that i want more attn. i hate having loads of attn. i blush and turn red like a tomato. more like i feel betrayed as a girl. "what? you gotta go run to the boys cus we're not good 'nuff for you?" type of thing. and then i get all girl-power ish and.. yeah.

sorry for the rambling.
-wait. am i being hypocritical?

yeah but... most girls i've known who actually sit down to watch sports or do whatever guy things with the guys, they really know what they're talking about, and they're not like, "what's this? why does he do that?" etc etc.

Yes there was this one girl that I knew that would not date a man, who can't sit down and enjoy sports like her.

i think what amy meant was that some of these girls watch on their own so that they can understand it and then come off as one of the guys. many of my friends during college were like that. similarly, some of my girlfriends would come over to my house to learn how to play video games--they'd play my brother's games. then they would apply this knowledge to when they hang out with guys. of course, there will be girls that are genuinely interested in sports and/or video games, etc. but then there will be the ones that aren't.

gah... now i'm thinking back about all the women who liked to do "guy stuff", and wondering if they actually had a genuine interest in them...
