With the move coming up quickly, I find myself worrying about being able to locate easily food I can eat. Also, I wanted to post this for tapestrybabe too, since she's all about Korea now
Anyway, while desperately searching for the Han Ah Rheum closest to my new address, I came across this list:
http://www.koreanfeast.com/korean_markets_in_the_us.htm
We hope the list of supermarkets specializing in Korean food products is helpful. It is not a complete list. With the help of our readers and Korean merchants, we intend to keep it as up-to-date as possible. If you know of a good Korean market in your area, please let us know so we can add it.
These are the stores where you will find many of the ingredients, sauces and noodles called for in the recipes as well as many prepared and processed foods that are common in Korea but not typically offered by your local Giant or Safeway supermarkets.
Korean food products are also available on the Web. So far we know of two: www.ikoreaplaza.com and www.hanahreum.com. The latter is a Korean-language Web site.
Eventually, you'll be able to find the nearest market by region and zip code. For now, please look through the list below. The markets are organized in alphabetical order by state.
There is even a Yahoo direction getter, and links to other Korean stuffs.
It's not the greatest list, but it did help me locate a Han Ah Rheum 15 minutes away from the new place.
