The other thread I made about this show is kinda gone, so....you know. The title credits for the new show are pretty tight, I must admit...can't wait for Sept. 11(a phrase I never thought I would utter)....that's when it debuts.

okay, i love bats as much as the next girl, but how many animated versions can there be? cool opening sequence, but what does this version offer that classic animated bats didn't have?

Clip of Bats vs. Joker, who is coincidentally voiced by a black voice actor, though I had no idea until I checked the credits at IMDB.

Batman is a great cartoon series, I watched it all the time as a kid. It was good times, and I like the artwork for this one; its non-traditional.

i just saw a couple minutes of it. seems decent. ming-na does the voice of a chinese cop, so points there....

I watched it, this morning. It's got an interesting style. Joker's hear is shaped like a "Jester's" hat and he moves like a monkey, when he's fighting.
The Batman design looks like it was ripped from a Frank Miller comic.

The animation's interesting. The animators and director used a lot of animation techniques that were pioneered by Production IG (Ghost in the Shell; Blood; the "Breaking the Habit" video for Linkin Park). The fighting's actually pretty darn cool.

The story's OK, so far. I think it offers a slightly different flavour than the previous cartoons, not that I'm saying it's any better.

Did you guys really like it? I didn't care for it so far but I'll give it a couple episodes to develop until I pronounce final judgment.

I think it's pretty cool. It doesn't have a lot of "heart" in it, though. It looks more like a half hour toy commercial.

I'm into Teen Titans, more. A lot more.
